The First Album I've Ever Bought
The weirdest thing happened today, was going through old boxes this afternoon "one of them contained stuff from the days prior Uni" and to my shock guess what have I found ? :) MY FIRST EVER ALBUM ! :D This came to me as a shock, I mean you don't come across a Milli Vanilli Cassette everyday, do you ? :P
I remember how 15 years ago, I asked my dad for a Dinar while at the Sheraton's shopping center "Bahrain's only shopping center at the time" to buy the Milli Vanilli "Girl You Know It's True" album. This cassette made me feel older at the time and I remember how I drove my family crazy by playing it continuously in the car. :P
Shame that they mimed their way to a grammy ! :DAnyway speaking of first albums, what was yours ? When and how did yous get it ?

Awwwwww LOL mine? huh.. was long long time ago! i think was Menudo a band of tean age guys from Puerto Rico hahahahha now i saw them and I think YAIKES how i like them before ! wahahahah

Music has been on my mind as well. Matter of fact, I was gonna post about it today.
My first album - I think - was one from the Jackson 5... back when Michael actually looked African American! I used to love them. I still have it.. matter of fact, I have several of their old albums!
I don't remember where I got it from though. Prob from some store like KMart or something.

I'd have to say very very good choice compared with mine ! :) I'm sure that the J5 collection would worth quite a bit if they were in mint condition ! Can I have them ? ;) I won't sell 'em I swear ! :P
Kareem: Welcome to our blog, Now how on earth did you know that Ricky Martins came from that band ? I'd have to check with their biggest fan (Lorena aka Dynamite aka wonder woman: Is that true?) About the MJ albums I think that I got the Dangerous album soon after my first. I kinda had a feeling that MJ would be the first album for most of the visitors

Mo, I think you're right, my first album must be Cheb Khalid's first one. There is a possibility though that it's the MJ one, can't really remember at all.

I am quite sure that it was Chab Khalid's first album "Didi"! :) I think it was bought to you as a gift or something, but I can be mistaken !

My first album was the Sex pistols-Never mind the Boll.......(you know the one)I'd orderd it from NEMS in the new strand and had to wait a week for it coz it was sold out,when i got it i took it out the bag and carried it home in my hand so everyone could see how cool i was. lol

Aje!! yeah Ricky Marin came from Menudo Munther:P.. and yes i was a big fan of them..I remember my mom taking me to the place where all the fans gather ! wahahahah hahahahah that times! and also my second album was kiss! wahahahaha I love themwith all this make up! .. wahahahahah

There used to be a nightclub by ours called the Paradox and Milli Vanilli played their(mimed) my mrs thought they were greatand wanted me to go with her to see em,cant remember the excuse,but i got out of it lol.
