My 10 things to do before the end of the year list
So I was watching "10 things a hate about you", I know it's a chick flick but what the hey ! :P The movie got me thinking, I know that you all must be thinking "ooooh GOD here he goes again !" but spare me a second to explain ! :P Anyway the movie got me thinking why not have a "10 things to do before the end of the year" list. My list looks like this:
1. Learn to eat with chopsticks.
"I mean just like the Chinese, not like the posers at every Chinese restaurant, you all now who I am talking about !" ;)
2. Shout of the top of smoke mountain
"Not really a mountain" :P
3. Go camping
"never done that" :P
4. Find a good Thai restaurant in Bahrain
5. Start to like Thai food while looking for the good restaurant. :P
6. Save BD 1000
7. Do the charity raft race.
8. Improve the traffic @ the blog
9. Cook for the whole family in Ramadan. 3rd Friday, I don't know why I picked this date!
10. Watch all the Sopranos Seasons
OK, now that the list is ready, lets hope I could do them all ! Wish me luck. :);)

ayyyy! so you want to learn how to eat like chines? LOL well is not hard ... finding a good Tai restaurant in Bahrain .. well I been in all and the best i like is blue Elephant have you been there?... camping ? huh go in fall no mosquitos and not cold not hot ... Save 1000 dinars?LOL i wish i can do it ! LOL ...Good luck my friend!

Hola Lorena ! :) Thanks for dropping by, Yeah I always wanted to learn how to eat with chopsticks, I am a BIG Chinese food fan.:) About camping I think I'll do it in camping season "spring vacation" and about the BD 1000 this probably might not be as hard to do as you might think "look who's talking" ;):P

Lol can't use chopsticks hehe, lemme give you a lesson when am back. Lorena, lol, when you mentioned Blue Elephant, I just cracked up laughing, not cause I don't like the place, but cause it's Mo's fav restaurant hehehe ;).
And about shouting from the top of smokey mountain, that's just soooo random, you must've be bored off your skull when you thought about that.
Besides this, I think you can attain all your goals succesfully.

I have tried the smaller thai restaurant... not bad. Try to order thai dishes in a thai restaurant and not chinese dishes.
have you tried the tom yam and the green curry and the desserts ?

like the list. finding a good thai restaurant here will be hard. i've been to several and they've all been pretty bad. haven't tried blue elephant tho but it was pretty pricey. eating w/ chopsticks... well, i learned a LONG time ago in China Town in San Fran... but then forgot.. now I'm a poser! :)
we went camping last year in the winter... it was a lot of fun. we got a tent at Geant... and all the camping gear. you should do it! but... it's nothing compared to camping in the states, i have to say. but i'm biased. too noisy here!
doesn't Al Bandar have those charity raft races? you should sign up for one of those. they look like tons of fun. one day you should think about rafting down the Colorado River... w/ rapids and such. Looks amazing.

tooner: Welcome back, we have missed you lately ! :( Where have you been ? :) About the blue elephant, we both agreed before that it wasn't that good and quite overrated. Do NOT compare The US with Bahrain when it comes to nature, because we would definitely lose ! :P The rafting thing, well yeah, I had the bandr one one mind when compiling the list. :)

YAY!! Hi Tooners! how you doing? nice to see you around! :) yeah I think the same about Blue Elephant is quite overrated.. but i really enjoy the buffet .. there is one restaurant in Abdliya is good one too .. and they make this TAi drink with Pinaple i really like it ..

sorry i'm just now responding... but i actually got kind of busy at work for a few days and didn't get around to blogging and such. it's weird how outta touch you feel when you don't read other ppl's blogs!!! i didn't think it would affect me, but it does. which i think is a nice thing :) but... that being said, i also find that i go in spurts w/ things to write about... i hope as time passes, that'll get easier.
